Cheese making production re-started in the Parish of Hartington in October 2012, after the closure of Dove Dairy in 2009.
A new company called the Hartington Creamery was formed and a small scale cheese factory was developed just outside the village of Hartington.
The first products produced at the creamery were Peakland Blue and Peakland White and they have gone from strength to strength ever since.
Claire and Gary have a real passion for the cheeses they produce and they have developed a reputation among cheese lovers around the world. They were one of our first producers on board.
