Coronavirus (Covid 19) and Peak District Deli

We have decided to increase our capacity to help local businesses stay afloat, and support the vulnerable people in our society who are facing a long period of isolation. In our lifetime there has never been a more important time to come together and support one another.

Given the current situation regarding the Coronavirus outbreak, we want to offer our customers a much more flexible option when shopping with us. We are increasing  our delivery days from Friday and Saturday to Tuesday through to Saturday. This means delivering 5 days a week for the foreseeable future. We will of course deliver to doorsteps and stay a safe distance away.

We are also reducing the lead time for orders from three days to two. This means that orders placed on a Tuesday would be available for delivery on a Thursday.

It is with heavy hearts that we are postponing our upcoming Pop-Up Supper Clubs on 27th March and 24th April due to the increasing concerns around the Coronavirus outbreak. We are currently working with our friends at Thornbridge Brewery and Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust to find new dates for these events.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but one we feel is in the best interests of our guests health, which must take precedence above all else.

We feel incredibly grateful to do something we love every day, and surround ourselves with talented and passionate people who we love and admire. We are humbled by the support and compassion we have been shown by so many of you who we have welcomed at our events, and by those of you who continue to choose to support us.

To those of you that have bought a ticket to an upcoming event, we would ask that you continue to support us during this difficult time by transferring your booking to a rescheduled event or an alternative Pop-Up Supper Club in the future. We will be releasing additional dates as soon as we can. In doing so you will be helping us to protect our business and keep us moving forward during a critical period of tremendous uncertainty.

Peak District Deli was founded with the vision of using local food, drinks and gifts to connect people with the Peak District and create unique and unforgettable memories for our guests. We are certain that in the weeks and months ahead, when many of us face the prospect of isolation, the importance of reconnecting with the natural world and people around us will become increasingly apparent.

We are currently looking at further ways that we can help support those who need to isolate themselves and we'll send more details as soon as we can.

Our team wish you and your family good health & would like to show our utmost gratitude to each and every one of you for your continued support.

If you have any questions or concerns we will always be available to talk.

With love from

Lauren & Ralph
